The Graham Fletcher Ballet Associate Programme

The Ballet Associate Programme is an invitation/application only ballet programme that is aimed at nurturing those ballet students who have aspirations to excel in dance, and/or pursue vocational training with schools such as The Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst, Tring or the Northern Ballet Academy.

Ballet Associates is designed to give students a greater insight into the life, challenges and achievements of vocational training and a career as a dancer. Monthly Associate classes will focus on classical ballet technique, virtuosity, pointe work/male variations, repertoire and strengthening, whilst additional one day or weekend masterclasses will include a variety of one-off dance related activities and will also welcome guest teachers.

The programme aims to bring Royal Ballet Associate level training to the Midland area. Graham Fletcher, former Principal Dancer with The Royal Ballet Company, has taught all levels of associate classes for The Royal Ballet School. Graham has also taught at The Royal Ballet Lower School, White Lodge and The Royal Ballet Senior School, Covent Garden.

Ballet Associates is open to enthusiastic children and students who want to develop their potential as dancers or enhance their existing skills beyond their normal syllabus work. Teachers, parents and guardians may offer their children and students the opportunity to attend the once a month Associates classes where they will meet other children and students of the highest level.

With Grahamís strong links to The Royal Ballet Associates, teachers can be absolutely confident that Ballet Associate classes will compliment existing training and are always welcome to observe classes at any time by prior arrangement.

For dancers, this will be your opportunity to take part in classes that will bring together the highest standard of ballet children and students from all over the Midlands.
